Cooked ham

Cooked ham or cooked ham is prepared from cured or lightly smoked ham that is cooked. Ham is cut from the hind thighs of the pig and smoked, salted or scalded depending on further use. Prague ham is particularly well known, braised or baked in bread dough for hot dishes. Cooked ham can only be kept for a short time, which is why one should not buy too large quantities in stock.
