Chopped almonds are mainly used for baking cakes, decorating cakes or decorating desserts. Chopped almonds are already blanched and skinned. The flavour of the chopped almonds can be enhanced by lightly roasting them in a pan or caramelising them with sugar. After opening the package, chopped almonds should be stored in a cool, dry place and consumed as quickly as possible to prevent them from becoming rancid.
