Calamari inks fish

Calamari inks fish

Calamares are particularly popular in Germany, while they are less widespread in the Mediterranean. If you cut the tubes (bodies) of calamari into slices, you get ink fish rings. They are usually sold already breaded as deep-frozen food and only need to be baked in the frittieuse until golden yellow for a short time. You shouldn't fry them too long so they don't get tough.
