Black pepper grains

Black pepper grains

Black peppercorns (engl. peppercorns, franz. grains de poivre, ital. granelli di pepe, span. granos de pimienta) should always be ground fresh or crushed in a mortar, as the aroma disappears very quickly. To marinade fish, meat or vegetables or to cook broth you can also use whole black pepper grains.
