Black olives

Black olives

Black olives are fully ripened green olives and therefore taste particularly aromatic. You also get olives that are not quite ripe, only black in colour and not so tasty. Black Turkish Marmaris olives have a wrinkled skin, but are among the most aromatic olives. They are particularly suitable for stewing in meat dishes, but taste just as good as Greek black olives with sheep's cheese or fresh salad.
