Basmati rice

Basmati rice is also called "rice fragrance". It is very aromatic and exudes a very tasty aroma. It is often used for Chinese dishes because Basmati rice sticks together during cooking and can therefore be eaten well with chopsticks. But also for other exotic dishes Basmati rice offers itself because of its extraordinary aroma. Cooked Basmati rice is softer than grainy long grain rice. That's why it doesn't take as long to cook as normal rice.
