Omelette is also known as omelette and is a kind of scrambled egg that is baked in the pan like a pancake. Depending on the recipe, the egg whites can be beaten until stiff and flour or milk stirred into the egg mass. Omelett can also be filled and folded with cheese, sausage, ham, vegetables, mushrooms, crabs and other ingredients. The Italian variant Frittata or the Spanish Tortilla, which are e.g. prepared with potato slices and eggs, are similar.
