Mexican Recipes

Mexico immediately makes you think of chillies, corn, beans, tacos and tortillas. The dishes like the famous Chili con carne are spiced piquantly and one should carefully approach the correct dosage of chilli. Mexican recipes are often flavoured with lime juice, which harmonizes very well with the hot spices. To soften the heat, corn bread, corn flat bread or other relatively lightly spiced dishes made from corn flour are often served in Mexico. Meat, corn and other vegetables are often served with fiery sauces, the salsas, which consist of raw tomatoes, onions, chillies, garlic and herbs. Typical for Mexico are also avocados, which are prepared as a starter such as guacamole or avocado soup. Tequila, which is served classically with lemon and salt, is as well known to us as the famous cocktail Margarita, with which you can serve nachos as a snack.
