Hearty cakes

Hearty cakes taste particularly good when warm from the oven. They can be easily prepared. Savoury cakes can be served as a side dish for grilling, as a main course with salad or as a snack with a glass of wine or beer. With ham, cheese or vegetables, savoury cakes can be varied in many ways. Onion cake and flame cake are in a separate category.
