French Recipes

France's cuisine spoils us with delicious dishes such as Boeuf Bourguignon or the famous Coq au vin. French recipes are often cooked with cognac and red wine. The quality of the wine plays an important role in the success of the recipe. The better the wine, the better the sauce tastes. You should at least use the wine for cooking, which you also serve with food. French wines are best decanted into carafes in good time so that they can be "aired". This is the only way to soften the taste of the mostly quite dry wines and to develop their aroma better. The delicious sauces are best eaten with fresh homemade baguette so that no droplets get lost. Cold Ratatouille from Provence with tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, onions and oil can also be served as a salad. Onion soup and the popular quiches should not be missing either. Quiche is served in France with pleasure on Monday for dinner, because it represents a wonderful remainder utilization e.g. of the Sunday roast, or remaining vegetables. For many, however, the crowning glory is the popular chocolate mousse, a dessert that is not quite low in calories but heavenly.
