Fondue Recipes

Traditionally, fondue is eaten in a convivial atmosphere on New Year's Eve or other celebrations. The best known is the cheese fondue with white wine, in which small pieces of white bread are dipped. Classic fondue is prepared with tender meat such as pork fillet, turkey fillet, beef fillet or beef hip steak in hot fat or broth. With fish fondue, firm fish such as salmon or tuna steak should cook in hot fish stock. Mongolian fire pot is also a fondue cooked with meat broth, shoulder of lamb and vegetables. Homemade fondue sauces, baguettes or baked potatoes are served with the fondue.
