This recipe for Banana Sambal comes from Australia. It goes very well with hot curry's and makes a nice contrast to the meat. Peel bananas and slice. Transfer to a small bowl. Sprinkle banana slices with freshly squeezed lemon juice and coconut flakes. Slightly jiggle the bowl to cover the banana slices on all sides with coconut flakes. Serve Banana Sambal in a separate bowl on the side with beef curry, lamb curry or chicken curry.
