There are special heat proof glasses and mugs to serve Irish Coffee.
First of all brew a strong coffee. Put sugar in an Irish Coffee mug. Heat the Whisky and pour over the sugar. Carefully light up the warm whisky using a match. Extinguish the flame with hot coffee and fill up the glass. Beat the cream until soft peaks form. Top the Irish Coffee with cream and serve.
