Chili sauce is a perfect compliment for BBQ, steaks, chops or just serve it as a dip with nachos and chips.
In a bowl mix together the tomato paste, ketchup, white vine vinegar, lemon juice, oil and soy sauce. Season with sugar, freshly ground black pepper, salt, and a dash of Tabasco. Cut the chili pepper lengthwise in half and remove the seeds. (If you like it extra spicy you can use the seeds too, but be careful!) Finely dice half a chili pepper; add to the sauce and stir. At last put in the minced garlic and finely diced onion. Mix well. You can prepare the chili sauce and keep it covered in the refrigerator for several days.
