Nasi Goreng is an Indonesian rice dish which can be prepared in many different ways. Cook the rice until done; let cool (good to prepare ahead. Nasi Goreng is prepared on high temperatures to avoid loosing the vitamins from the vegetables. In a coated pan or wok heat the oil on high. Finely diced onions, garlic and a knife tip of sambal oelek (an Indonesian hot chili paste) and fry until light brown. Finely grate the carrots and add. Slice the mushrooms and put in the wok. Half and seed the bell peppers, cut into thin stripes and add. Cut the leeks in thin rings and stir into Nasi Goreng. Cut the chicken breast filet into stripes and fry. Add soy sauce and turmeric powder. At last add the cold rice, combine and warm.
