Prosciutto filled Crescent Rolls

yogurt
diced smoked ham
scallions
egg yolks

Serves 3 - 452 cal per serving

The filled crescent rolls (count 2 for each Person) are a quick and easy prepared snack. Unroll the dough (e.g. Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Rolls, large) and carefully separate in triangles, using a knife. In a bowl combine herbed cream cheese spread (e.g. Vermont Gourmet, Alouette or Rondele etc.) and yogurt and stir until smooth and creamy. Finely dice the prosciutto. Finely slice the scallions in rings and add with the prosciutto to the cheese cream. Seasoning is not necessary. Spread 1 tbsp on the short side of each triangle, leaving a small edge uncovered all around. Starting on the short side, carefully roll the dough up and curve into crescent shape. Slightly brush the crescent rolls with egg yolk. Put the rolls on a baking tray, lined with parchment paper. Bake in the pre-heated oven (200 C / 390 F), on the middle rung, for about 10 minutes until light brown. Cover with parchment paper and bake for another 5 minutes.
