Place flour, oil and salt in a bowl. Beat the egg and add half of the mixture to the flour. Dissolve the yeast in 4 fl. oz lukewarm water and then add to the flour. Knead together to make a smooth dough. Allow the dough to rise in a bowl covered with a teatowel. Meanwhile drain the tomatoes. Heat the oven to 225 C/ 420 F. Roll out the dough and place on a baking tray coated with olive oil. Spread the tomatoes and the sliced onion on the dough. Halve the garlic and cut into thin slices. Sprinkle over the tomatoes and season with pepper, salt and oregano. Grate the cheese and sprinkle over the pizza. Bake on the middle rack for about 20 minutes. When the pizza is done place slices of parma ham on the pizza and serve.
